Battery Research
Currently, we have open positions for post-docs on battery research at the new Helmholtz Institute Ulm (HIU).
- We are seeking a materials scientist, inorganic chemist, or electrochemist with extensive knowledge about diffraction methods and other instrumental analysis techniques. The candidate should have a background in electrochemical testing, such as battery testing, impedance spectroscopy, cyclovoltammetry. Moreover, proven abilities in chemical synthesis is required. Creativity in the conception and implementation of unique research is essential, in addition to a strong publication record and the ability to work in a collaborative research environment.
There are also opportunities for experienced researchers to come for 1-2 years as a visiting scientist (post-doc equivalent position) to our group. A visiting scientist conducts research based on her/his own proposal.
