2014 HeKKSaGOn Summer School on Nanotechnology Research

The 2nd HeKKSaGOn Summer School, hosted by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), will focus on opportunities and challenges of nanotechnology research. During the Summer School, participants will attend workshops highlighting the latest developments and research studies in Nanotechnology, visit KIT research laboratories, participate in a poster session as well as have the opportunity to take part in cultural excursion. The German-Japanese Universities Alliance (HeKKSaGOn) was established in 2010 as a foundation to further develop international cooperation and exchange of ideas in education, research and innovation fields to further advance science, technology, industry and culture between member universities. The network is an umbrella for six excellent research-intensive universities from Germany and Japan that place a strong value on high-quality teaching within an environment of internationally competitive research.
