Seminar

From catalysis to organic, supramolecular and polymer chemistries

Wednesday, 22 April 2015, 13:30-15:00
Talk given by Dr. Nathalie Baradel Institut Charles Sadron, CNRS Strasbourg, France During the last years, I had the opportunities to work on a variety of topics of chemistry. I choose to present shortly all of these research works. We will start by a catalytic approach to activate the C-H bond of acetone by NHC Nickel complexes. We will continue by the stereochemical control around the titanium metal cation in the self-assemblies with oligophenylene and diimine ligands. And we will finish by my Ph.D. work where the chain-growth controlled radical polymerization techniques were used to develop new strategies to regulate polymer sequences.
