General information

We offer bachelor-, master- and  PhD-thesis projects, advanced research lab positions, and student jobs at our INT/IQMT labs at the Institute of Nanotechnology near Karlsruhe. Highly motivated candidates are welcome to send their application (CV, academic transcript, thesis if available) to krupke∂kit.edu. Expert knowledge in Python/Jupyter Notebooks is desirable and an English C1 level is required. Depending on the project, knowledge of quantum mechanics, semiconductor physics, optics, chemistry and materials science is required.

For TU Darmstadt students: The workplace for all thesis and ARL projects is at the Institute of Nanotechnology, however due to the cooperation between the TU Darmstadt and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology all projects are counted as internal projects of the TUDa Materials Science department with Prof. Krupke as official supervisor. TUDa students can apply for an allowance to support the change of location.
