I am a materials scientist at RU-Aghassi, working on heterojunction sensing and printed devices for medical and environmental applications, using responsive functional materials for VOC, biomarker, and gas detection.
We have established the junior research group HTP‑Gas (Heterojunction Thin Film Devices and Printed Electronics for Gas Sensing), which currently includes four master’s students and one bachelor’s student at INT and InnovationLab GmbH in Heidelberg.
I hold a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials, and my expertise spans ALD, inkjet printing, PLD, sputtering, and CVD of ultrathin oxides, MOFs, TMDs, and 2D heterostructures, as well as cleanroom microfabrication and operando characterization, with a focus on translating materials innovations into system‑level prototypes. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft, working with Prof. P. G. Steeneken, M. K. Ghatkesar, F. Widdershoven, and M. van der Veen.
