Welcome to the internal KIT workshop on electron microscopy (KITem). The workshop brings together users, researchers, technicians and the managing team to offer a platform for a simple and direct exchange. Due to the broad usage of electron microscopy at the KIT, various topics and materials are discussed within the interdisciplinary audience.

  • 9:25: Quantitative EDX in the SEM (Kraft)
  • 9:45 Impulse-talks (2-3 min each, Poster-teaser or introduction to topics/instruments…)

  • 11:30 Helium transmutation damage studies on EUROFER97 using ion implantation (Manoli)
